With support from the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, BPUS organized six courtyard meetings across six upazilas—Barishal Sadar, Bakerganj, Banaripara, Wazirpur, Gournadi, and Agailjhara. A total of one hundred seventy-six persons with disabilities participated in these meetings, including one hundred seven men and sixty-nine women. The sessions focused on democracy, inclusion, voting rights, and mock polling activities to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of the electoral process and encourage their meaningful participation.
