অদ্য ১৭ই নভেম্বর জাতীয় প্রেসক্লাবের সম্মুখে বাংলাদেশ প্রতিবন্ধী উন্নয়ন সংস্থা এর উদ্যোগে স্থানীয় সরকার প্রতিষ্ঠান ও মহান জাতীয় সংসদে প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তিদের জন্য আসন সংরক্ষনের দাবিতে মানববন্ধন কর্মসূচী অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। মানববন্ধনে প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তিবর্গ ও তাদের অভিভাবক ও সাংবাদিকবৃন্দ উপস্থিত থাকিয়া প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তিদের জন্য আসন সংরক্ষণ এর জন্য মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনার নিকট জোড় দাবী জানান।

It’s a pleasure to inform you that the BPUS had organized a human chain demanding the reserved seat for persons with disabilities in the Local Government bodies as well as in the national Parliament of Bangladesh. The program was held in front of the national Press Club, in the capital, Dhaka, on Wednesday last (November 17). More than 50 persons with disabilities and representatives from some disability related organizations took part in the Human Chain program. They have raised their voice in ensuring there every rights while addressing the program. A good number of media representatives from different media houses attended to cover the program .
